The Cobnut (Corylus avellana) collection contains 47 cultivars located on two
sites. The majority of the cultivars were planted on the main site in 1979,
while six more cultivars, were planted on a new site in Spring, 1997. There are
two representatives of each accession, spaced at 4.5 m x 6 m and the collection
covers 0.22 hectares.
