The Pear Collection contains dessert, culinar and perry varieties. There are
two representatives of each accession. A spacing of 4 m x 3 m
has been used for the dessert and culinary collection and 4 m x 2.5 m for the
perry pears. The predominant rootstock used is Quince A with Doyenne du Comice
as interstock; however some dessert and culinary cultivars are on Quince C.
