UK National Fruit Collections | |
The NFC library contains many publications relating to temperate fruit cultivars, such as the National Fruit Trials publications. In addition, locally prepared datasets and archives are also maintained. For example, flowering dates are recorded annually for each accession over a ten year period and the variety descriptions used to compile the National Apple Register of the United Kingdom (Smith, 1970) are available. The library is open to bona fide researchers, please contact the Scientific Curator to arrange a visit.
